  • Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a very interesting variation of the M1926 French Adrian helmet. Although this looks similar to the Mle1945 which was in many ways a modified Adrian helmet, this is for sure an M1926 as indicated by the bolts on the side and the suspension system. Without any markings, this may have been an experimental precursor to the Mle1945.

The helmet has a WWI-era Adrian helmet infantry flaming bomb badge, the middle of which appears sunken-in a bit. The paint on the exterior is mostly retained but there is some heavy wear. The top comb is still fully intact. The dome has some dents in spots so this example may have seen some trial testing. The front has a leather pad where the front visor would have been. This example retains its original chinstrap on the interior which is correct to the helmet. The original four liner suspension pieces are intact but the liner is gone. A very interesting helmet.
