Original Item: These are original French Military issue Wine cans, used to carry wine and other beverages for soldiers use. Even to this day the French military consumes wine on a regular basis. These are post war issue, and appear to have some type of lining inside the container. However, these are being sold as collectors items, and we do not recommend that they be used.

This version of the can is constructed clamshell-style, with two halves being joined together in the center, much like a small Jerry can. Vent tube is mounted internally in this design.
Very few available. Condition is good to fair, with all cans having some degree of denting and rust.
