Original Item: Original Item: These are original French Military issue Wine cans, used to carry wine and other beverages for soldiers use. Even to this day the French military consumes wine on a regular basis. These are post war issue, and appear to have some type of lining inside the container. However, these are being sold as collectors items, and we do not recommend that they be used.
Side of each can is marked:

These also bear manufacture dates from the 1950s. These cans are constructed with the seam on the bottom, and have the vent tube located on the outside of the can. Additionally, many still have the original desiccant pack inside of the can, which prevented interior corrosion while in storage.
These cans are in good to excellent condition, with each having some degree of external rust and scratches from decades of storage. Some appear to have never been used. Very few available.
