Original French & Italian WWII & WWII Lot of Five Period Maps - Map of Moglia with Period Annotations

Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a tremendous lot of four period WWI and one WWII maps for use by French & Italian armies. There are three maps of france including two fold-up “Sheets” of France, Sheet 36B and 62D specifically, and one map of Amiens. There are two maps of Italy including an annotated WWII map of Moglia including drawn defenses along a river, and an 1897 maneuver map for the VIII Army Corps which could date to either WWI or WWII.
Map Sheet 36B measures 26 x 35” and is dated January 1918.
Map Sheet 62D measures 24 x 34” and is dated March 1918.
The map of Amiens measures 25½ x 35½” and was printed at the Geographical office in Southampton, England in 1911. This map is fabric-reinforced.
The VIII Army Corps map measures 27 x 31½” and is dated 1897, but it could date later. This map is paper and not fabric-reinforced.
The Moglia map measures 19¼ x 22” and is dated 1943 with period annotations. This map is paper and not fabric-reinforced.
