Original French 19th Century Lady's Garter Stiletto Dagger with Scabbard

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a a beautifully made upmarket small dagger for self defense. It has a 4 1/4" stiletto blade with a steel cross guard and intricately engraved pewter hilt collar. Below this is a delicately worked ivory hilt. Comes complete with a very close fitting nickel-plated scabbard intended for concealment, ideally in a Lady's Garter.
8 1/2" in overall length this would really dissuade any unwanted attentions, while at the same time was also incredibly stylish. Condition is very good, with just a bit of oxidation on the metal components, and a crack on the ivory handle, typical of ivory over 100 years in age.
