Original Items. Only One Pair Available. This is a great scarce set of WWII Finnish canteens, both marked and dated on the tops of the caps. They both retain their wool covers with virtually no flaws, one of the finest pairs of canteens we have offered, and the very first Finnish WWII canteens we have listed.
The first canteen is marked lnt/42, for a date of 1942. It also has the Finnish SA stamp on the throat. The second is marked lnt/44 on the cap. The cloth straps are in great shape and the belt connector is retained well on both examples. Very interesting to see the transition from strings on the cover to snaps. A fantastic pair of canteens.
