Original Item. Only One Available. Original Item. Only One Available. This is a rare small size propaganda poster from the German-Occupied Netherlands dating around December 1942. The poster features 2 workers discussing construction and other industrial projects in front of a bright yellow and orange shaded industrial background with smoke rising from factory chimneys, the bold stylised lettering above and below. The poster is meant to convince Dutch men to work in Germany, featuring some of the benefits of doing so, such as being happy when the entire country was in a state of disarray due to the occupation.
The poster measures 15 x 21¼” and is in great shape, with the only damage being folding creases. The poster retains its color which is very vibrant. The poster reads:
Welvaart door
Samenwerking
in het Nederlandsch Arbeidsfront
Prosperity through
Cooperation
in the Dutch Labor Front
The bottom border of the poster notes the publication being authorized from 15th October, 1942 to December 31st, 1942.
A great example of a small-scale poster from the German-Occupied Netherlands. Comes ready for framing and display.
