The eared butt cap displays a grotesque mask and the wood stock is finely carved around tang and fore end. The stock has wonderful curled grain and a deep finish. We suspect that the wood is Strasbourg Curly Walnut. The front of the stock tipped with stag horn. The pistol retains an all wood ramrod which appears to be true to the period.
