  • Original Item: Only One Available. We are fairly certain that this originates in the Dutch East Indies or the Philippines, produced Circa 1880-1900. Its hilt is similar in shape to that of a Nepalese Kukri Knife, however the massive forward-curved blade dips down almost like a giant Bowie knife. The blade is over 14 1/2" in length, the sharp edge returning for two inches on the upper side. The wood hilt is checkered and has a simple but very effective hand guard.

The knife comes in its original two pieces carved wood scabbard, showing slight damage to the tip. The scabbard is secured by plaited leather thongs. Most attractive in a rather sinister way, clearly a weapon for the serious of mind. Ready to display!
