  • Original Items. Only One Set of 4 Available. Here we have a great set of World War II Danish Anti-German propaganda. These are four lovely jointed paper doll caricatures, made from thick oak tag style paper, measuring about 10-11 inches long. They depict some hilarious caricatures of four of the biggest leaders of NSDAP Germany.

Each example has a string that when pulled, causes their bodies to flail around helplessly. These were first published in Berlingske Tidende in the summer of 1945, then rearranged and printed on sheets by Carl Stenders for Christmas 1945. The caricatures include:

    - Der Führer Adolf H, Dictator of Germany and Leader of the NSDAP Party.

    - Joachim von Ribbentrop, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany.

    - Joseph Goebbels, Reich Minister of Propaganda.

    - Hermann Göring, Chief of Luftwaffe High Command and President of the Reichstag.

These caricatures are all jointed and have string on the back, which when pulled down makes their arms and legs jump up and around like they are doing a dance. Great pieces to hang in the window.

A great set of caricatures, ready for further research and display.
