Original Item: Only One Available. Made as a back-up for big game hunting, this is a fine quality large caliber "Howda" style pistol. Casehardened lock plates with the right lock marked A.V. LEBEDA and the left lock marked IN PRAG. ANTON VINCENT LEBEDA worked in Prague from 1797 until 1857 being succeeded by his son Ferdinand who worked from 1824 until 1889.
Damascus over under rifled barrels with blade front sight. Double hammers with single trigger. Wood ramrod mounted on the right side of the barrels. Serial number 6301 on the lower barrel and trigger guard. Checkered walnut grip. Overall length 13 3/4".

Condition: Very good. The barrels are untouched with very visible Damascus pattern remaining and some minor areas of surface rust. The action retains strong traces of faded original case colors in the protected areas with the balance a gray patina. Some minor pitting is present on the pistol. The grip is fine with some minor handling marks. Overall the checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
