Original Item: Only One Available. Scarce WWII Chinese Zhong Zheng Shi 1924 Mauser Bayonet in excellent original condition, which is very difficult to find with Chinese bayonets.. The bayonet is a scarce Zhong Zheng Shi variation.
Bayonet has most of its original bluing remaining, with some wear from being removed in and out of the scabbard. Hilt and guard also has a high amount of original blued finish as well. Wooden grips are a pleasing light colored wood, riveted in place by means of steel/copper rivets. A number “8429” is stamped into the right side grip, most likely to number the rifle to the original rifle it was issued with. The locking mechanism works flawlessly.
Scabbard is stamped sheet metal, one of the harder versions to find. It exhibits the expected dings, scratches and wear one would expect. There is some light pitting here and there, along with an overall brownish/grey cast from oxidation.
