Original Chinese DZG-141 Thermobaric Rocket Inert Launcher Tube with Sight - Rare

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a nice totally inert non-firing BATF compliant DZG-141 Thermobaric Rocket Inert Launcher Tube, which are currently still in use in many areas, making them very hard to come by. It has correctly had a bore width hole drilled through the left side side, and has a bolt and bolt installed across the bottom and welded together to prevent loading. It is now totally inert and incapable of firing, which makes it 100% legal to own without a license of any kind. As with deactivated ordnance it is NOT AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT.

The DZG-141 Chinese Rocket Launcher is a further development of the PF97 and PF11 weapon system lineage. Owing to its designation, it is believed that the DZG141's rocket is fitted with a HEAT-Multipurpose (HEAT-MP) warhead. Its export designation is BKM6, and unfortunately there is not a lot of information out there on them. It does appear that like other weapons systems, it is designed around using tubes with rockets insides, and detachable ignition and sight assemblies. This would save money in the long run, as the tubes cold probably be reloaded at arsenal, and they would not need the trigger and sights for every tube.

This lovely deactivated example no longer has the triggering assembly, but does still have the rear sight installed, and both the tube and sight are marked DZG141. the instruction label on the side is unfortunately no longer present, but otherwise it looks identical to other examples we have seen on the internet, which is pretty much the only source for information on these rare items. Measures about 36 1/2 inches long.

A hard to find current issue launch tube, ready to research and display!
