Original Item: In the Vickers gun, when the trigger is pressed, the motion is transferred to the trigger bar and then to the lock trigger to release the firing pin. The trigger bar slides in a groove in the underside of the rear receiver cover. When pressure on the trigger is released, the trigger bar spring, which is mounted in a recess in the rear cover, returns the bar to its rest position.
