Original Item: The muzzle gland of any water-cooled machine gun is a critical part, since virtually all such guns use recoil energy to operate. Thus the barrel must slide back and forth in the water jacket, and must be sealed at each end to prevent the loss of cooling water.
We have found a few genuine Vickers muzzle glands in original grease. If you have a Vickers, this would be a good opportunity to upgrade your muzzle gland or lay in a spare.
