Original Item: The Mark V Sten gun was the last, and some say best, of the Sten models, but the magazine housing was completely interchangeable with the earlier Mark II.
We've separated them only for the collector who wants to have correct matching components. Our mag housing assemblies include the magazine catch and retainer parts but not the barrel nut catch; that is how we got them. Some are clearly marked Mark V or Mark 5, but some have only a V over S logo, which stands for Sten V. Many have the prime manufacturer's code, M/78, for Elkington Company, prominently stamped in. And, to add variety, any of these marks may be on either the top or the bottom of the magazine housing.
