Original British WWII South Staffordshire Regiment Officer Peaked Visor Cap

Original Item; Only One Available. This British World war Two general staff officer’s cap is offered in very good condition. Constructed of genuine leather components and high-quality wool. Cap has no issues with staining or moth, and the leather chin strap, often missing, is also present. Visor hat has not been kept crushed or folded and still retains its original appealing shape.
Leather sweatband has some minor stitching issues and has separated from the cap in a few areas but holds in place. It bears the name of its former owner J. PATTERSON. Size is approximately 58 cm or US 7 1/4. There are no maker markings.
The front of the cap has a wonderful metal South Staffordshire Regiment insignia pin on khaki ribber oval and the chinstrap buttons also feature the South Staffordshire Regiment insignia.
