Original British WWII Second Pattern B2 Marked Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife with Authentic Scabbard

Original Item: Only One Available. This is one of the rarer versions of the Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knives. This version features a blackened brass handle, blackened blade, and "B2" stamped on the cross guard. The crossguard is stamped with ENGLAND, which is so often encountered on knives exported in the 1970s. The knife comes with a fantastic and correct leather belt sheath.
Condition of the knife is very good, still with a sharp edge, likely the original factory sharpening. The condition of the blade does not indicate it was used much at all, and it still shows almost all of the original blued finish except near the tip. The crossguard is still firm on the blade, and is marked on the bottom with a BROAD ARROW next to a partial B2 stamp. Research indicates that the B2 marked knives were made by Wilkinson Sword Company. It is also stamped ENGLAND on the underside of the guard for post war export.
The leather sheath is in very good condition, with solid leather and the original finish on the chape well-retained. It has an intact belt loop, with the only real issue being the broken securing elastic missing and the belt loop being a small bit loose.
A great example of a rare knife that would fit well into any British WW2 collection.
