  • Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a wonderful brown leather chamois-lined flying helmet with elastic snap chinstrap. This is an early war example dating from 1939-1942. This fine example comes without front goggle straps and features an elastic chinstrap and a built in clip on the right side to accommodate the oxygen mask attachment hook. Helmet is approximate US size 7 1/4 (58cm).

    The goggles are wonderful, classic Mk8 goggles featuring leather construction with suede lining steel eye brackets encasing clear glass lenses (no cracks or chips) with a classic cotton strap that is elastic and still stretchy.
    Overall a fantastic authentic WWII Royal Air Force pilot flying set offered in very good to excellent condition!
