Only One Set Available:This is a wonderful brown leather chamois-lined flying helmet with elastic snap chinstrap. In 1944 Gosport' speaking tube C type flying helmets were issued. This fine example comes without front goggle straps and features an elastic chinstrap and a built in clip on the right side to accommodate the oxygen mask attachment hook. Helmet is approximate size 57cm.
Earphones are taped with Gosport' speaking tubes.
Inside the interior left ear relief it is marked in hand written ink:
The goggles are wonderful, classic Mk8 goggles featuring leather construction with suede lining steel eye brackets encasing clear glass lenses (no cracks or chips) with a classic cotton strap that is elastic and still stretchy!
