Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very rare RAF High Altitude Bail Out Oxygen Bottle in rough condition with an original D handle and an overhaul tag from 1955. The tag denotes that the bottle was overhauled and confirmed as working in 1955. Pulling the D handles released a controlled flow of oxygen via a pipe connected to a special O2 hose attached to the oxygen mask.
The side of the bottle reads AVIATORS BREATHING OXYGEN. There is a tag on the side showing empty and fill information but it is coming off. There is no gauge or hose, and there are several pieces missing. The safety pin is still inserted.
