Original Item: Well marked British P-1944 Paratrooper Gas Masks with an operational German filters. These masks in truly excellent condition have just been released from a Civil Defense Department in Scandinavia and each Mask has a brand new (1980s) WW2 style German Steel filter can with adapter for use with this Mask model.
The threatened use of poison gas in WW2 never became a reality; however Gas Masks were standard issue for both Allies and Axis Forces. More often than not the carriers were used for other purposes and the masks long discarded which makes them hard to find today. Here is an opportunity to complete your WW2 British Collection.
