Original Item: During the Second World War, British and commonwealth (Australian and Canadian) officers were issued map cases in a smaller and larger size. These map cases are the smaller of the two. The map case consists of a wood board with canvas cover. The cover has a number of pockets for pens and instruments and the board is covered with a perspex cover, protecting the map. Genuine collectible, all are dated between 1940-1945 and are offered in nearly unissued condition!
