  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a fine Wolseley pattern white Pith helmet with a leather liner, complete with a nice “puggaree” wrap and helmet plate from the BARBADOS POLICE. The top of the plate bears the “King’s Crown” of British King George VI, and is in the WWII style. There is also a number 6 in the middle of the plate, indicating the particular unit the helmet was issued to.

The helmet has a very nice condition leather liner, which is marked VERO’S DETACHABLE & SELF-CONFORMING HEAD BAND, along with patent information. It is still attached to the helmet, though it is a bit loose due to wear in the attachment mechanism. The chin strap is unfortunately absent.

In nice Collector's condition, ready to display!
