  • Original item: One Only. Most unusual, as this high quality private purchase side cap was tailor made in Hong Kong, and bears the Maker's label inside over the left ear:

    It bears a High-Quality gold and silver bullion wire embroidered Royal Corps of Signals Cap Badge, probably indicating Officer use. The Badge shows the Corps motto:  Certa Cito (Swift and Sure). The front cap buttons however both display a King's Crown over crossed Kukris, indicating use by one of the Gurkha Signal regiments. Probably dating from the 1940s, condition is quite good, with only some fading an cracking on the sewn-in sweatband. Ready to display.
