Original British WWII Era Pattern No. 4 Swiss Made Military Stopwatch - Broad Arrow Marked

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. In full working order, this is an very nice WWII Era British Military Issue Stopwatch. This is the type that was used on bombing raids over Germany as well as setting Torpedo Timings during WWII. The face is simply marked at the bottom:

The casing looks to be nickel plated, or possibly solid nickel alloy. The back folds down to serve as a stand, showing serial number 390013, and we also can easily open the inner cover to view the movement. There is no maker marking, just MATERIALS and a serial number of 91263.

It functions like a standard stopwatch, with the top knob winding the spring, as well as starting, stopping, and resetting the watch to zero. The second button at 10 o'clock actually is a "lap" timer, which disconnects the secondary hand from the main one whenever the button is pressed. A second press then links it back to the main hand, wherever it is at the time.

The case has some very nice markings on the reverse:

(Broad Arrow)

Just like you see in the movies, the real thing and still in full working condition. Ready to use or display!

There is no warranty for this watch and returns for a non-working watch will not be honored. Please note all watches are wound and tested then recorded on video before shipment. We are not in the watch repair business- ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
