- Original Item: One-of-a-kind. This appears to have started life as a U.S. pattern 1918 fighting knife, most likely a French AU LION style of manufacture. The brass grip and knuckle guard is partially retained and was mounted on a dagger blade. The Brass grip is Broad Arrow marked along with the initials B.C. and 43 for 1943. The custom leather scabbard bears a branded Heraldic Lion insignia to the front and a functional closure snap. Overall a very interesting unique fitting knife push dagger, that appears to be a converted custom adapted WWI 1918 fighting knife for use in World War Two.
