Original British WWII Blitz Blackout Kerosene Lantern

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a great WWII Blackout lantern used in Britain during the “Blitz”. The lantern measures 10” tall and the base is 5 ¾ x 5¾”, with the carrying handle still retained. There are no markings we could find but this example is 100% period correct.
The lantern retains most of its paint with oxidation taking some of it. The wick is retained, and this could likely still be used today.
A great example, ready for further research and display.
