  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is an interesting modified example of one of the rarer versions of the Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knives. This version has "B2" stamped on the cross guard next to a broad arrow. This example was taken and modified by an American soldier, with the crossguard and pommel appearing to be handmade, with a stacked transparent grip.

Condition of the blade is service-worn, with much of the original finish wearing down, with some very small nicks to the edge. It’s roughly 6¾” long. The overall length is 11½”. The crossguard is still firm on the blade, and is marked on the bottom with a BROAD ARROW next to a B2 stamp. Research indicates that the B2 marked knives were made by Wilkinson Sword Company.

The leather sheath is the original one for the knife, but was slightly modified, with the back of the tongue being cut in a specific shape. The small leather tabs on the body of the scabbard have been cut down as well, but the brass drag still remains. It has an intact belt loop, but the elastic strap is gone.

A great example of a modified F/S knife, ready for further research and display.
