Original Item: This is a great WWII British Long Shovel, standard issue to all mechanized and Artillery units as well as Sappers and Engineers, these are the correct shovels used by the British military for over 100 years. Wood "T" handle with steel blades bearing the maker-mark CT LTD on the collar, as well as a Broad Arrow stamp and a 42 date, for 1942.
The shovel is roughly 37 inches long, with a shovel blade that is roughly 8 inches wide. A great piece for any WWII kit. Comes ready for further research and display.
