  • Original Item. Only One Available. Fury is a 2014 American war film written, directed, and co-produced by David Ayer. It stars Brad Pitt with Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña, and Jon Bernthal as members of an American tank crew fighting in Germany during the final weeks of the European theater of World War II. Ayer was influenced by the service of military veterans in his family and by reading books such as Belton Y. Cooper's Death Traps, a 1998 memoir that underscores the high casualty rates suffered by American tank crews in combat against their better-equipped German counterparts.

This is a very interesting British ammunition crate that comes with a tag of provenance reading:

    THIS BRITISH AMMO CRATE WAS
    USED ON THE SET OF
    THE MOTION PICTURE
    “FURY”
    ROBERT LIHANI
MILITARY TECH ADVISOR - PROP MAKER

The crate itself appears to be an original WWII or period example with very heavy wear and faded markings. It measures 9 x 21 ½ x 8 ½” and is in good shape overall with intact carrying handles. The crate is now empty and is dated 1942 on the lid. There are scattered markings across.

This is a great film prop with provenance for one of the most popular modern WWII films. Comes ready for further research and display!
