Original Item: Only One Available. The cutest small brass powder compact made to look like an officer's hat and the same style used by other ranks in the first months of the War before steel combat helmets were adopted.
The hat shape without a peak has the British Royal Cypher badge in miniature on its facing edge. The brim opens to reveal the powder compartment in the bottom and a small vanity mirror in the underside of the lid. Constructed from brass shell casings this is most appealing.
Measuring just 1 high by almost 2" across. We estimate approximately 1914-1915 manufacture.
