Original item. One of a Kind. This is very up-market, a lovely Private Purchase wrist Compass, with a water-damped Mother of Pearl compass card. It is beautifully made, and comes complete with leather wrist strap, which was meant to hold the compass OVER the uniform sleeve, hence the long length. It is contained in a monogrammed leather belt carry case, marked W.A.K.F. which, since it was purchased from his family, we know belonged to MAJOR GENERAL W.A.K. FRASER.
The wrist compass itself is of the highest possible quality, and the belt case, that we have never seen an example of before, is very rare. The cover joint has lost about an inch of the stitching, which could easily be restored.
