Original British WWI Royal Flying Corps Aerial Bomb - Inert

Original Item: Only one available. This ordinance is inert and has been fully deactivated following guidelines provided by the ATF. The explosives have been removed, as has the detonator and fuze.
This is great WWI Era British Royal Flying Corps Aerial Bomb, which currently weighs just under 10 lbs. It measures about 18 inches long with a diameter of approximately 3 inches. It has the typical hanger ring on top and arming pull pin seen on bombs from the WWI era. As it is relatively light weight, this is most likely aimed by hand, dropped from the side of the airplane as it flew over enemy locations.
This example looks to originally have been white, so it may have been a practice bomb, now painted maroon. It is overall in very good condition, and makes an excellent display piece.
