Original British WWI Officer Grouping - Sam Browne Accessories

Item Description

Original Items: Only one set available. British Officers in WW1 outfitted themselves at their own expense so it was entirely up to personal preferences as to the accessories he carried. Here is a fine example of items one officer accumulates other than his Sam Browne belt and leather holster to match his uniform.

The grouping consists of:

• All brass 1914 dated BRINTON MK1 Compass by Ross Evans of London.
• Brown Leather belt pouch containing a perfect "ORILUX" London trench torch (flashlight).
• Brown Leather cased monocular by MONOX of PARIS"
• Brown Leather covered Chesterman 33 foot tape measure with brass mounts.
• Brown Leather quality made container for a telescopic sniper sight with mount, unfortunately the scope and mount were absent when discovered so are not included.

A very fine personal accessory set of a well to do British WWI officer.
