Original Item: Only One Available. Rebuilt from 80% of a torch cut original WW1 British Lewis Gun receiver this is a BATF approved totally inert display receiver for mounting the external parts of a Lewis Gun parts set for display in museum or private collection.
The portions burnt away in the demilitirization process have been reconstructed and the internal areas have been totally destroyed then filled with bar stock steel.
It is all steel and has the strength to bear the weight of the original Lewis parts for display
purposes. Aluminum receivers were too weak and often broke if moved around once assembled. An ideal opportunity to complete your Lewis project.
