Original Item. Only One Available. Dating to the World War I period, this is a British Royal Artillery officer’s dress coat with epaulettes and large flaming bomb emblems on the collar. The coat features Royal Artillery gilt buttons all marked for Jennens & Co. of London.
The coat has very heavy wear with some moderate moth damage on the front near the waist. The lining appears to have been replaced and is tearing in places as shown. The gold tape of the collar is missing some of its stitching. There is also some damage to some of the buttonholes. There are no markings we can find.
A very worn example, but a fair representative piece. Ready for display.
