  • Original Item: Only One Available. The Worcestershire Regiment was a line infantry regiment of the line in the British Army, formed in 1881 under the Childers Reforms by the amalgamation of the 29th (Worcestershire) Regiment of Foot and the 36th (Herefordshire) Regiment of Foot. The regiment fought in many conflicts, including both World War I and World War II.


    This pith helmet is the standard late Victorian Design as used in the Zulu Wars with a brass spike to top and full brass helmet plate to front bearing the regimental badge under a "King's Crown". Deep green colored interior with brass ventilation holes in top under brass spike and full brown leather headband complete with leather chin strap. Offered in very fine condition, already well over 100 years of age, totally original.
