  • Original Item. Only One Available. The Swedish Carl Gustaf M2 84mm shoulder fired recoilless rifle was originally developed in the late 1940s as a crew-served man-portable infantry support gun. The design and various types of ammunition used made it suitable for close-range multi-role anti-armor, anti-personnel, battlefield illumination, smoke screening and marking fire. The design also has seen great export success around the globe and continues to be a popular multi-purpose support weapon in use by many nations.

Unloaded or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar devices, which are cut or drilled in an BATF-approved manner so that they cannot be used as ammunition components for destructive devices, are not considered NFA weapons. This example is in total compliance and is NOT AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT.

This is a great example of a Carl Gustaf 84mm M65 High Explosive Anti Tank round in its original carrier, manufactured by Britain during the Vietnam War era. The canister retains its original label:

    84MM INF HEAT L40A3
    RDX/TNT/IA (ABCA) AK B204
    B24B CY 3-67
    FZ L42A1 LOT Z-26 FFS/5/6 T

The lid for the carrier is embossed:

    AMM. K.P.L.
    CONTL 207.A.1 1966
    SV517A

The round itself measures 20 ⅞” tall with a 3 ¾” base diameter. The side is marked:

    84DK
    M/65
    E

All parts appear retained, and the carrier retains its original carry strap. The carrier measures 22¼” long.

A great example, ready for further research and display!
