  • Original Item: One Only. This is a really good example of a massive British Victorian Officer's leather holster, intended for use with a .455 and .476 caliber Revolvers like the Webley Pryce and large Enfield varieties.

Constructed of thick very dark brown almost black Cow leather designed, to be worn with the standard Sam Browne waist belt. The rear marked with a Broad Arrow and II over 1895 as the year of manufacture. The closure strap is marked with maker name WOOD and location WALSALL, an industrial town in the West Midlands area of England.

Leather still stiff and all stitching intact, ready for many years more service. This could very well have seen active service in India, Egypt, the Sudan, the Boer War and of course WW1. In truly excellent condition. Ready to display.
