  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice British Victorian Era Bucket holster, intended to attach to the saddle and tack of a Cavalry soldier or Police Officer's mount.  It would provide easy access to the percussion pistol, and would also allow them to quickly drop it back into the holster. The holster measures 13 1/2" long, with the oval top measuring 5 1/2" x 4".

There is a worn and faded label inside of the holster, with the Coat of Arms of the British Royal Family, indicating it was made by a SADDLER To the Queen and ROYAL FAMILY. Unfortunately the name of the maker is unclear. There is also reference to "Her Majesty's Cavalry" lower in the label.

Condition is very good, with most stitching intact, though there is a crack on the back of the holster, where the stitching is broken. There are also some shallow cuts on the front.

If you were looking for a great accessory to go with your Victorian Large Bore Single Shot percussion pistol, this is it!

NOTE: This listing is for the Bucket Holster only. Pistols are shown in holster for illustrative purposes only and are not included.
