Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is very nice Lieutenant's red tunic with G.R. buttons having plush mattress style lining to the interior. The tunic is complete with correct maroon leather waist and cross belt decorated with silver wire type ribbon design. The cross belt secures an original leather binocular case to center of back displaying Royal Arms over the Royal Engineer motto.

Set comes complete with fabulous condition ball top blue cloth helmet with gilt mounts showing the regimental helmet plate. A magnificent set, ready to display, already more than a century old.
The Corps of Royal Engineers, usually just called the Royal Engineers (RE), and commonly known as the Sappers, is one of the corps of the British Army. It is highly regarded throughout the military, and especially the Army.
