Original British Pre-WWI Named Royal Fusiliers Officer's Bearskin Helmet in Metal Transport Case

Original Item: One of a Kind. Very possibly from just prior to WWI, this is a magnificent Officer's Bearskin Helmet with white feather hackle to side and gilt flaming bomb Regimental Helmet Badge with blue enamel back ground. It bears the Motto HONI SOIT QUI MALY PENSE (Evil to him who evil thinks) around a gilt Tudor Rose to center. Comes complete with very supple black leather head liner and brass chained chin scales. This is all contained in its original Maker's Carry Tin, with Outfitter's brass plaque reading:-

The case itself measures about 12 1/2 inches across, and is 22 inches tall, not counting the carry handle. The top dome of the metal carry can is also professionally painted with the Officer's details:-
