  • Original Item: One of a Kind. This is truly a ONE OF A KIND item, very rarely seen, especially in this condition! A magnificent display piece! This is the ORIGINAL British VELLUM Document, officially prepared as if it were a Medieval Charter, granting Lord Allenby the Freedom of the City of Ramsgate in Kent, where there is a large statue of him as a Great Hero for his actions in The First World War. This proclamation was given to:

    Field-Marshal the Right Honourable
    Edmund Henry Hynman Allenby
    Viscount Allenby of Megiddo and of Felixstowe, G.C.B., G.C.M.G, &c,. &c,.

    Beautifully executed and preserved in multi colors in a copper plate hand, acknowledging his supremely successful service during, WWI including the great Arab Revolt led by (Captain) T.E. "Lawrence of Arabia". It measures 19 inches by 13, and was made by Waterlow & Sons Limited, London Wall, London, E.C.2, as marked at the bottom. See photos for full elaborate text.

    Presented at a much publicized ceremony on October 6th 1925, this important Offical document is in pristine condition ready to display. Originating from the Estate of the Field Marshall who died on May 14th 1936 aged 75 years.
