  • Original Items: Only One Set Available. John Jones and Son worked in Cornhill, London from 1780 until 1823. They made a wide range of firearms including cutlass pistols and flintlock weapons with the Royal cypher. They supplied many Officers with private purchase weapons during the French Revolution and the subsequent Napoleonic Wars.

Here is a fine pair of Officer's flintlock pistols with 9" barrels. The measure 15" overall and are beautifully stocked in walnut with brass trigger guards and ram rod pipes. The locks are marked:

    John Jones & Son

Barrels show English proofs and are nicely marked:

    LONDON

Features decorative engraving on all metal parts. Both ram rods remain but appear to be period replacements. Overall condition is very good and the mechanisms are functional.
