Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is nice! Measuring just 36.5 overall with a .577 caliber rifled barrel of just 21" complete with British proof markings.

This carbine is fitted with a saddle bar and single ring for suspension from a cavalry trooper's

body sling allowing easy use with just one arm while on horseback. Features fine all brass butt plate, trigger guard and nose cap. The two barrel bands and the ram rod are steel.

Lock is marked TOWER and dated 1855 together with crown over V.R..

A wonderful small carbine offered in fully functional condition.
