Original British New Land Pattern Flintlock Pistol Marked Bank of England No.2

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. Although a Government Contract Pistol this particular Flintlock Pistol is of very high quality. The lock marked with TOWER across the tail and Crown over G.R. to the center of the plate, the pistol features many quality aspects. The lock is very well made, incorporating a roller on the frizzen spring and a slide safety behind the cock. The pistol has a "trapped" swivel steel ramrod and superior quality London proofed iron barrel of 9" in length. Overall length is about 15 1/2 inches, with a bore of about The only brass on this particular pistol is the New Land Pattern trigger guard. There is no butt cap the grip being formed into a "fish tail".
