  • Original Item: Only One Available. This was almost certainly a REGIMENTAL Private Purchase directly from the Gun Maker Henry Nock of London circa 1805, as indicated by the H. NOCK on the lock plate. It is equipped with a "captured" swivel ramrod, later adopted as a characteristic of the "NEW LAND PATTERN." It is not fitted for a butt Cap and has brass fittings: trigger guard, side plate, ramrod pipe and nose cap.

It has a 9 inch long barrel in the standard pistol bore of .65". The barrel bears British Proof Marks around HN ( for Henry Nock) and LONDON. There is also No. 411 engraved in script on the trigger guard, though we do not know the exact meaning of this marking.

In overall excellent condition showing some staining to the metalwork with the Woodwork in truly excellent shape.
