Original Item: For use with British L1A1 Self-Loading Rifle SLR or FN FAL Rifles. These clip on to cover the front sight when not in use. However, they were also used in jungle fighting in South East Asia where heavy brush and foliage had become a serious problem for jungle patrols as it kept the rifle muzzle from becoming entangled in brush. Not issued in the last 25 years, I.M.A. has received a small quantity of these from the British Ministry of Defense. A very rare and unusual FAL Rifle accessory not previously recorded or available.
