Original Item: Dating from the post war period this is a British Household Cavalry Trooper's Sword of the Lifeguards and Horseguards (who guard Buckingham Palace, the Royal Family residence while in London).
Quality leather sword frog for suspension from the saddle when trooper is mounted on horse back. The Sword has always been hard to find but the saddle frog is nearly impossible.
Sword and Scabbard sold separately.
